Ruth moved to Yellowknife from the UK 12 years ago, initially drawn by the cold weather and then by her partner. She has been writing all her life, including about travel, short and long fiction and poetry. She recently finished the first draft of a long (6,000 word!) epic about a sailing trip on the Big Lake.
